Delete Today is a multi layered Facebook solo online performance where my online persona disappears little by little from Facebook, giving myself a few days between each delete-all; every post, every photo, every comment, every tag, every group... and the grand finale, like a social seppuku, I unfriend in alphabetical order every facebook friend. Delete until there is nothing left but "life event" notices of the action of deleting, and the date: The digital engraved inscription on the artist's Facebook profile.

It is not about deactivating my profile, it is about emptying the profile of all possible content, and leave public notice of the action.  Delete Today rises several unexpected questions, but all the answers are available in a quick gaze at the backlight screen you hold in your hand.

Delete Today (2017)
July 11th, 2017 to August 7th, 2017

The Tropics is my first solo stunt, inspired in the decades of grey between contemporary lazy loadings and the abstract expressionist movement.

The Tropics aims to create intense colour shift moments shaped by means of rules and omissions, acceptance and refusal, luring the viewer into myopical unrandomness and severe visual boredom.

Not one single line of code has been abused in the making of this show, featuring homemade video, made in China oil paintings, made in USA print on demand books, made in France postcards, made in Germany cold beers, made in Peru DJ and made in Spain stuntman.

The Tropics happened as a one day exhibition on Friday, June 2nd, 2017 at
Raum Vollreinigung, Berlin.

I met Juanma Lodo briefly in September 2014 in Asturias, and we decided to get together as a band, exactly one year after their encounter, to enter Drax Studios in Madrid and record Cachopou's very first music album entitled "Creating Standards", which sounds navigate the seas between experimental electronica, off-key jazz, improvisation and non-erudite classical music.

Messenger Poetry displays a selection of poetry "written to or received by" via Facebook messenger. Most of the texts are sent to people I did not know, but Facebook pointed out as people I should know. Some other are extracted from casual texts shared with friends in day to day conversations.
